LIFE Soria ForestAdapt also has the support of the Biodiversity Foundation, created in 1998, today part of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. Its main goal is to protect Spain's natural heritage. To this end, they manage Spanish and European funds. For more than 20 years they have been carrying out their own projects and managing calls for grants. They have allocated more than 231 million euros to support 1900 conservation projects, thanks to which they have collaborated with more than 1000 entities. In these two decades, 70% have been NGOs, associations, and foundations, 20% corresponds to Public Administrations, SMEs, and the media, without forgetting 10% from the academic sector, universities, and research centres.
